A few years ago, the MSSO began to recognize publicly (at MedDRA User Group meetings) those individuals who have over the years proven themselves to be true friends of the MedDRA terminology.
These “Friends of MedDRA” (FOMs) have often been significant drivers of the improvement of MedDRA either through their direct feedback to MSSO or through their participation in various MedDRA-related fora (e.g., MedDRA Blue Ribbon Panels). Others have championed the use of MedDRA within their own organizations, helping to secure MedDRA as a viable adverse event reporting standard.
Below is a list of recipients of the “Friend of MedDRA” medal since 2006.
